![]() I will caveat this by saying that this is for our laptop office users, not our graphics design folks who use workstation class machines with $1,500 graphic cards. We did have a problem when we in-place upgraded a couple of Windows 8 laptops to Windows 10, but with the help of DisplayLink and Targus we found the problem was that Windows did not uninstall the old version of drivers before installing the new version -ran the uninstall manually and things came back online. ![]() On occasion we need to reboot a dock, and three or four times since moving to Windows 10 we have had to manually uninstall an older version of the drivers and install the new one, but otherwise they have been a non-issue. Connects with a single USB cord (preferably a USB3 but will work on USB2 or even USB1), uses de-facto standard DisplayLink drivers, and is nearly completely painless. The charging tip is interchangeable and several tips are included and store inside the dock. The built-in laptop charging port is a nice touch, allowing the user to keep their regular charger in their bag. This dock, combined with a dual monitor stand, We tried one or two other devices but came back to this one. ![]() ![]() A couple of years ago we tried the Targus ACP71USZ and to be honest we haven't done anything else. ![]()
